Bow
The mounting brackets (hinges) on the door in the portugese bridge are enormous. I would imagine these would be at home on the door of a 747.

Bow
Here you see the doors to the chain lockers. Inside there is a HUGE amount of unused space. Had I realized this I would have found a way to use it. I'm still convinced SOMETHING from the lazarette (which is overcrowded) could have been placed somewhere else on the boat.

Bow
One of the reasons we wanted an aft pilothouse boat is this front deck. On our 62 this space was used all the time for one reason or another

Bow
The Davit is a 2,500 pound Marquipt. The davit on my 62 was and endless source of grief. I decided to overkill it on this boat. This davit was an expensive upgrade -- like $50,000!

Bow
This is the remote control for the davit. It is ultra-commercial looking. I was amazed when I saw it

Bow
The davit... there are a few pictures, because I wasn't sure exactly which model I had, and needed to document it

Bow
We're working on sorting out the dual anchors. There is a lot of this boat which is "borrowed" from the 76. I really wanted the dual anchor setup, but we knew there would be a problem with the anchors being closer to each other than we liked. I'm confident we'll figure it out, but not quite sure how we'll do it yet.

Bridge
The 76 I was just on had no steering wheel. The trend seems to be towards dumping them.

I like having one, plus, Roberta wanted the "old boat" look, and the steering wheel was custom done, and is a work of art.

Cockpit
The cockpit is enormous. The table you see, which is beautiful, but covered, has been a big issue. It is a "trick" table. It splits and lowers (and slides) to become two lower cocktail tables. The pedestals and slides are incorrectly installed. I guess I'm not the only one who didn't understand what Roberta has in mind. They'll figure it out.
