I'm not sure why this isn't covered, but am happy it isn't -- because it looks so good.

The fun debate between Roberta and I this week was how much of the interior woodwork to keep covered up. We've been on plenty of Nordhavns that cover the tables all of the time. The problem is that Nordhavn does such nice woodwork, and no one ever sees it, except some future buyer when you sell the boat. I think we have decided that "the heck with wear - we want to see the wood."

Bow
The crane on my 62 was under-sized. On this boat I was taking no chances. This is a very beefy crane.

Bridge
I went with three large monitors on the bridge, liking the idea of running super high resolution, and dragging around different windows to position things as I wanted them. This was a mistake. The 76 I was on yesterday took the opposite approach -- lots of smaller dedicated monitors, including a bank of small 4" monitors dedicated to the cameras around the boat. I liked their solution better. What I have will be fine -- and, a huge step up from what I had on the 62, but I'd probably do it differently if I had it to do over

The company I hired, from Seattle, named Cello Technologies, has been amazingly great. They are doing all of the a/v systems and communications. They are ahead of schedule and doing an awesome job. Here we see a rack ready for installation.

For my main nav display, I went with a non-marine Sumsung 24" display. I wanted the 1920x1200 resolution.
