I'm not sure what the right answer to this question is. Perhaps someone else can comment.

We had our 62 for nine years, and only waxed it once a the beginning of each cruising season, and once at the end (twice a year). This seemed to work fine. When we sold the boat the hull still looked like new.

Ken,

I recently visited Nordhavns Portsmouth office and toured the N47 & N43 and although I did not ask this question, it looms in my mind.   Is the exterior of a large fiberglass hull waxed on an annual or more frequent basis similar to that of smaller boats or is some long term oxidation of the finish considered standard?  I'm referring to the portion above the waterline, not below.  What was your observation on Sans Souci?
